“This is a little girl’s paradise” Ronnie as she walked into her dream…
I’ve known Amy for a long time. She’s a fellow ATA Mommy, we roll deep, and we support each other at every available opportunity. We were pregnant at about the same time, heck I had even her maternity clothing hand-me-downs. Amy’s son served as role model in the mentoring of Sweetness in his quest for the coveted Blackbelt….so yes, Amy and I have met many times. She had a side business of selling headbands, tulle dresses, costumes…but until she had her Brick and Mortar store, I hadn’t really had a chance to see, let alone wear her wares….Fairy Wings and Sparkly Things….what happens when you have the bestest friends in the entire world.
So, I jumped into the deep end of the pool and entered Duchess into a beauty pageant, but like Cinderella, I didn’t have a dress, nor shoes. I’m not a professional Pageant Mommy, so my education had to be swift, my degree had to be rushed. On the Eve of the 1st Pageant, I was texting Amy, asking her the rules and regulations of the event…The Friday before the Saturday competition, I walked in to the Sparkly paradise to get Duchess her dress…. See, this is where the proverbial rubber meets the Biblical road…Love One Another, and although I’m SURE pageant dresses is not what Christ had in mind, Love is Love…all day.
What does Ronnie do when she’s ignorant? Why she calls on Amy, and her mother Fran. Amy and Fran have everything, I mean EVERYTHING that a little girl’s heart could ever desire. From the pageant dresses, to the homecomings and prom, Fairy Wings and Sparkly Things has it all. Cinderella dresses, Belle Dresses, Pink and baby blue Tulle dresses that remind me of a sweet-tooth marshmallow, shoes, hair pins, crowns, pins, lace, pearls…it’s all there for a little girl to indulge. I left there earlier today, and let me tell you, we found all the right dresses at all the right prices. If this store had been around when I was attending Prom, I would have been Princess Ronnie, instead of Countess Ronnie… you can believe that! So for all the fabulous, glittery, tulley, dreams of a baby girl’s heart, you simply MUST hit this store up first. I’m not saying Duchess won her division because of their dress, but I am saying that she was a beautiful Princess (not a Duchess), and showed like one….so…look at the picture and you tell me….does the girl make the dress or does the dress make the girl? Fairy Wings and Sparkly Things, endorsed for free by Countess Veronica Philips, and if anyone knows a little something about beautiful clothes…it’s me. Get with them NOW for Homecoming, and PROM…Be the Princess you were meant to be. Be Blessed.
