Top Ten Most Powerful Marvel Beings

“Hey Mom, who would win in a battle against…….?”  A young Sweetness

And so it began, a conversation, between mommy and son, that started when he was 3, and is still going today. His father gets involved, then we all get on our electronics and research. In Orlando, Florida (right before going to Universal Studio’s) we were discussing the Marvel Universe, when waitress said to us, “It is so nice to see a family talking together like you are doing” Yes well, we were contrasting/comparing the power ability of Thanos to Galactus. I found a quote by Stan Lee in an interview he gave….I won the debate….What can I say, we love our superhero’s.

The Top Ten Most Powerful Marvel Beings….written by Sweetness…if you know any of these characters, feel free to tag them…we’d love to read their comments…..enjoy.

Iron Man

10. Iron Man

A rich, handsome (I wrote that) MIT graduate at 15, he built a suit with an Arc Reactor power source, from scratch, that gave him the ability to fly, withstand superhero force (and falls). He is the founder of The Avengers, and fights alongside some of the most powerful superhero’s in the Galaxy.

Captain America

9. Captain America

Created via a Super Soldier experiment (oversaw by Tony Stark’s father), Captain America became a Super Hero Soldier whom fought Red Skull for the Tesseract. His strength, cunning and strong moral code help him overcome his foe’s. He is also known as the 1st and perhaps the cutest, Avenger.

Spider Man
Spider Man

8. Spiderman

Bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker absorbed the power of a spider. He can climb walls, create silk webs strong enough to hold even the largest of Marvel Bad Guys. Spiderman wants to be an Avenger, but the guys won’t let him in. Poor Spiderman.

The Hulk

7. Hulk

A Gamma Ray accident turned Bruce Banner, an intelligent Scientist, into Hulk, a raging mass of sheer power that is only contained by Banner’s meek demeanor. When he’s angry, his strength is multiplied to the point that he can rival even the most powerful beings in the universe….like Thanos, Thor, and Loki. He is a member of the Avenger Team, and fell under the power of the Scarlet Witch, and destroyed South Africa.

Wolverine

6. Wolverine

His strength is in his ability to regenerate his wounds. Several times, he’s been mortally wounded, only to heal and victor in his battles. He won his greatest battle against the Phoenix, using his powers to survive her blows to his body.

Scarlet Witch

5. Scarlet Witch

The Scarlet Witch can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects. Because of this power, many died after she controlled and manipulated the minds of the Avengers, except for Hawkeye, and he said his mind had already been controlled once before (The 1st Avenger film).

Loki
Loki

4. Loki

Loki possesses one of the Infinity Stones in his scepter; which gives him power. He is the God of michef, and the Brother of Thor. He is cunning, calculated, and merciless, in his quest to destroy his brother and rule over Asgard and Midgard.

Thor

3. Thor

Thor is the blood-son of Odin, All-Father of the Asgardians, and Jord, who was also known as Gaea, the goddess who was one of the Elder Gods. He also wields the power of the Mjolnir, his hammer. He is a powerful member of The Avengers, and a gentlemen whom fights to protect the human race; whom he dearly loves. (Thank you Thor).

Thanos

2. Thanos

The 1st bad guy on the list, Thanos, has been introduced to us by the Guardians of the Galaxy. His quest to obtain all the Infinity Stones, is rumored to be the subject of the next Avengers and Guardians film. Thanos is a god from the race of Eternals; which he killed several years ago. His power comes from the Infinity Gauntlet.

Galactus
Galactus

1. Galactus

When interviewed, Stan Lee, creator of the Marvel Universe, responded that out of all the characters in his creation, it was Galactus, not THANOS who reigned as the Supreme Power in the Universe. Before our universe, another universe survived, which collapsed in upon itself. Galactus was the sole remaining survivor of the collapsed universe and absorbed his powers from the energy of that collapse. His only weakness is that he has a unsustianable hunger for living planets….in modern day, Astronomy, Galactus is the epitomy of a Black Hole, most powerful in the universe (not love).

The Top Ten Most Powerful Marvel Beings is the second guest post by my son, whose only 10 years old. He writes his articles, and I simply edit, illustrate and publish. Just as the 1st article he wrote, Top Ten Most Powerful X-men, I will remind all that he is only 10 years old. Heck, even I debated some of his choices….this is simply him giving you HIS opinion of the Beings, after the research of  such movies as: The Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiderman, and of course, X-men. You are welcome to agree, disagree, debate and discuss, what you are NOT allowed to do is demean him. Remember, I am a mommy 1st, and I can handle his business….but we would appreciate constructive feedback, because after all, feedback (good and bad) how we grow in our craft.

Six-Sigma

wolverineleap

“So, we had an ear infection, strep/Scarlet Fever, a fungal infection, a vaginal infection in a toddler, a yeast infection from said antibiotics to treat strep, an early am visit to the ER, lost my wallet, and NOW….we have a son, whose placed something in his ear canal, and it WILL require the work of an ENT because the ER won’t see him. Does that about sum it up for ya DOLL?” Ronnie to Merrill before she took her 4th and final shot of JACK.

The ‪#‎momlife‬, what doesn’t kill ya, just inspires you to drink. Can I get an AMEN? As mothers, we are to test our inner processes constantly. It’s like that whole Six-Sigma thing, meant to test and train procedures in place at a manufacturing company. For example, I know what seizures look like, and I know not to stick something in the person’s mouth. Nay, we need refining in our lives; otherwise, just like the little pigs, when the big bad wolfie comes along, and blows his bad breath on our life, we may crumble. Children are our Six-Sigma and anyone whom disagrees isn’t a parent. You simply must be ready for anything, and I do mean anything that comes along to test your fortitude. My Princess was coming up the stairs (many years ago)….that’s it, just walking up the stairs, when she tripped over a laundry basket, and ended up in the ER for stitches in her foot. Six-Sigma….the Inspector Cometh….are you ready?

There was a short-lived Superhero Reality show, hosted by Stan Lee, that took a group of young contenders, dressed them as any hero they wanted, then tested their heroness on the streets of NYC. Yes, that won’t go unnoticed….one of the challenges, was to time their lightening speed, by having them run, in costume from point A to point B. Along the way, there would be obstacles that the superhero’s would have to navigate to get to the finish line. In the middle of a race, a child walks out crying because he can’t find his mother. One superhero told him, “Let me finish. I’ll be right back”, but one person, the one least likely to win, stopped running the race, and tried to help the child find his mommy. See, she didn’t make it across the finish line, but she won the race, because in life, the one who helps the most, wins……Okay, that’s not really true, but I do have a point.

She had a goal, she had a path, she had a standard, yet none of those things mattered, when a child came into her life. As I was making my way to Wal-Mart at 1am Sunday morning, there was a car pulled over with their hazard lights on. A man was walking around the outside, with his “woman” walking with him, holding a toddler. “Sigh” I thought….”Let me finish. I’ll be right back”…..but that’s not right. Long story very short, I grabbed their gas can, filled it up, and they were on the way. Not one of you here, would blame me, hell some of you would excuse me, had I just kept driving, but friends, how would you feel, if that were you, and the out of gas car? Six-Sigma simply shows us where our internal weakness lie, once we know them, we can address them, or ignore them. The Golden Rule was not meant as a means for you to serve God, but as a way, (I believe) for God to serve YOU, by having us serve each other. When you focus on all other things but yourself, your problems become small….very, very small. I had told the couple, “Please excuse me. I have a very sick baby back at the room”…..but up until that moment, I was busy focusing on them. Unlike the actual corporate world, the Inspectors of Six-Sigma will not make an appointment to come test your procedures….those little buggers will just show up, usually when you’re in the middle of a crises. That’s Life….that’s my point. Understand, you may not always win the race, but you will always finish….take an inventory, prep, fine and refine, then when those Sigma jerks come a calling, you’ll be ready for them. Serve each other, it’s the best way to serve yourself. I Promise. Be Blessed.

Remember you set the Tone, you ARE the Example. BE KIND to each other. Show GRACE and MERCY to all those whom cross your path today. With your Daily Affirmations complete, enjoy your Monday.
